Persona Settings
Define the personality, appearance, and voice of your assistant
The Persona page lets you define how your assistant looks, sounds, and feels to users.
Here, you can select whether your assistant appears as a 3D avatar or as a voice-only assistant, customize its voice, and adjust its language and tone to match your brand or use case.

Assistant Type
Choose how your assistant interacts with users:
- Avatar – A 3D visual character that speaks and animates as it responds
- Voice Only – An audio-based assistant without a visual avatar, often accompanied by a voice visualizer animation
Avatar and Visualization
If you select Avatar as the assistant type:
- Click Change Avatar to choose from Ziddny’s available library of 3D avatars.
If you select Voice Only, you can choose a visualizer animation instead — a dynamic sound wave or pattern that moves as the assistant speaks.
Locale and Language
The Locale determines the language and accent used by your assistant.
This setting affects the pronunciation and naturalness of the assistant's voice output.

Voice
Choose your assistant’s voice persona from the dropdown list.
Ziddny offers a variety of natural, multilingual voices — both male and female — to match different audiences and tones.
Example:
- Andrew Multilingual – Male
- Sophia – Neutral Female
Voice Settings
Below the voice name, you can fine-tune how your assistant speaks:
- Voice Rate: Adjusts the speed of speech. Negative values slow it down, positive values make it faster.
- Voice Pitch: Controls the tone or depth of the voice. Lower values make it deeper, higher values make it lighter or more animated.
You can experiment with different combinations to match your desired voice style and brand personality.
Avatar View
When using an avatar, you can define how much of the avatar appears on screen:
- Face View – Shows only the avatar’s head and shoulders (closer, more personal view)
- Half Body View – Displays the avatar’s upper half for a more complete look
Choose the option that best fits your interaction context or visual layout.
Tips for Creating the Right Persona
- Match your avatar’s style and tone to your use case (professional, friendly, educational, etc.)
- Test different voice settings until they sound natural and aligned with your brand
- Use a consistent persona across all assistants to create a unified user experience
