Sharing & Publishing
Manage assistant visibility, access permissions, and user sharing options
The Share page allows you to control whether your assistant is live and accessible to users, as well as manage who can interact with it.
Here, you can publish your assistant publicly, generate private access links, or temporarily pause access by switching it offline.
Assistant Status

You can toggle the Assistant Status to set your assistant as Live or Offline.
- Live – The assistant is active and accessible to users who have permission to access it.
- Offline – The assistant is temporarily disabled. Even if users have the link, they will not be able to access it.
Tip
Setting an assistant to Offline can be useful if you want to pause activity or billing temporarily without deleting the assistant.
Make sure your assistant is Live if you want your users or audience to access it through shared links or your embedded widget.
Share Settings
This section controls who can talk to your assistant.
Anyone with the Link
- Anyone who has the link can access and interact with your assistant.
- This mode is fully open and does not track or identify who is using the assistant.
- It’s ideal for public uses, marketing showcases, or assistants meant for wide distribution.
No User Tracking
In this mode, there is no user tracking — sessions will not identify individual users.
Private
Private mode allows you to generate unique, identifiable access links for specific users or groups.
This is not a “secret” or hidden mode, but rather a way to track user activity and sessions securely.
When using Private mode, you can:
- Create users or groups with custom names
- Assign each a private link (key)
- Define a maximum number of uses (e.g., 5 or 10). Setting it to 0 makes it unlimited.
- Share these private links manually with your intended users.
Limit
You can create up to 50 users or private links at one time.
These links allow you to identify which user or group interacted with your assistant when reviewing the session logs in the Metrics section.
Managing Users
In the Users section, you can manage private links for individual users.
Create Users
- Click Create Users.
- Add a name (e.g., “Student Group A”, “Customer 101”).
- Set the maximum number of sessions allowed (or 0 for unlimited).
- Generate the links.
You’ll receive one private link per user created.
It’s your responsibility to share these links securely with your users.
Sharing caution
If a private link is shared by a user to someone else, others can also access the assistant using that same link. This mode is meant for controlled sharing, not strict isolation.
Delete Users
You can delete any private link at any time to revoke access immediately.
Once deleted, that link will no longer allow users to reach your assistant.
Example Use Cases
- Educational Programs: Create unique links for each student or class group.
- Client Testing: Give limited-time access to specific clients for trial or feedback.
- Interview Bots: Track sessions from individual candidates securely.
- Closed Beta Launches: Share access with selected testers or collaborators.
Notes
- Assistants must be Live and Published before users can access them through links.
- Public and private links both stop working when the assistant is Offline.
- You can manage and track all session logs and user activities in the Metrics page.
Next Steps
After sharing your assistant, explore the Metrics and Logs pages to review how users are interacting with it.
