Getting Started

First Assistant Setup

Create assistants and configure their prompts, voice, and appearance

Create Your First Assistant

You can create and configure your first assistant in just a few simple steps.

1. Create a New Assistant

  1. From the left sidebar, click Assistants.
  2. Click Create Assistant or the + button to add a new one.
  3. Give your assistant a name.

2. Configure Your Assistant

Prompt

Define what your assistant should say or how it should behave.
In the System Prompt, describe your assistant’s personality or purpose.
Example:

“You are a friendly virtual assistant named Alex who helps users find information quickly.”

You can also enable Start Greeting if you want the assistant to greet users automatically.

Intelligence Model

Choose the Large Language Model (LLM) you want your assistant to use — for example, ziddny-openai 4o Mini.
Set the Response Length Limit and adjust the Creativity Level slider to control how creative or precise the assistant’s responses are.

Avatar & Voice

Select your assistant’s avatar and voice.
You can choose between voice-enabled or 3D avatar-based interactions depending on your preferred experience. Assistant Settings Interface

UI Settings

Customize the assistant interface:

  • Choose a background color or upload a background image
  • Adjust visual preferences to match your brand or theme

Click Save once your setup is complete.

3. Test Your Assistant

Testing minutes

Testing minutes count against your balance. Each test conversation uses your allocated minutes, so use testing efficiently during development.

You can test your assistant in two ways:

Test Assistant

  • Click the Test button to instantly test your current setup.
  • Any changes you make in the editor (prompt, model, avatar, etc.) are reflected immediately in this test mode — no need to publish yet.

Published Assistant

  • After you’re satisfied, click Publish.
  • The published version won’t include new edits until you publish again.
  • You can test the live version via the View Live Link.

4. Share Your Assistant

To make your assistant accessible to others:

  1. Go to the Share tab.
  2. Set the assistant’s status to Online.
  3. Choose availability to Anyone so others can access it publicly.

Next Steps

Now that your assistant is ready:

  1. Monitor its performance in Metrics.
  2. Add knowledge sources under Knowledge.
  3. Explore advanced settings like persona and analysis tabs.
